Calling all high school 67-72 owners!
 

Been seeing a bunch of us floating around lately. More than on our unknown user group (now that the list of groups is hidden..).

So, if your in HS, say wuzzzup.. :uhmk: And do you drive your truck to school?

yeah drive it to school...really need to start workin on it bad ive got most of my plans just need to get motivated start ordering stuff for it and sell my other few rides..

i have been driving mine for the past 4 or 5 months until about two weeks ago i decided to do a 5 lug disc brake conversion. so i have been driving our little mazda. There are a lot of kids that like it, they always ask me about it and complement it. its been a lot of fun for me in every shape and way.

I have had mine since befor high school and drove it all through high school and still have it. Dose that count?

im a senior in high school
i never drove any of my trucks to school regularly but i did drive my 68 c20 once or twice a week 2 years ago but then i parted it out, and i will drive the 71 k10 i bought from my dad for part of the last couple weeks of this year, and if i get everything done on my 68 k10 i will be driving that as soon as i can as much as i can

im 15 and drive my truck to school most all of the time...i havent drove it for a week or two since im doing a little engine work right now

HS here but Im a total restore for right now
hopefully I can drive it in the end of my GR 12 year
dont turn 16 till may 6

I'm 18 and a senior in high school. I'm on here quite a bit but so is my dad, we kinda share this account. But yeah I drive mine all the time, even in the snow and salt, hate to do it, but its my daily driver. Even got a chance to take some senior pictures with it! Here are a couple of pics.

My daughter drives this to school every day.... yes, she's spoiled. But her little brother will hopefully drive it when it's his turn too

I started building mine at 14... Got it finished at 17, a week before graduation. Half the people at school thought it was a myth until they saw it. I'm almost 20 now and in college. I've driven it almost daily ever since.

I bought mine right after I graduated HS.... and now i just finished college and its still not done yet ha!

Well, I'm in my second year of college(19 years old) and I drove my dads 68 gmc for a year and a half til I got my 98. My brother also drove it to high school before me. As you can see in my sig, we've added a few more vehicles since then. I'm slowly building my 72 as time permits when I'm home, so it should be done by the end of college(hopefully this summer).

Ive noticed alot more of the HS kids are more in the 67-72 rather than the 60-66 haha. Im 17, will daily this once i rebuild the motor / swap the motor:metal:

High schooler here, my truck is almost ready to be a daily driver, just need to replace the wheels and do a little brake work. Me on the other hand, thanks to a couple elective surgeries and a broken arm, I still need to get my license

Was working on 67-72's when I was in highschool, but never had one done enough to drive. Now I'm in college, and I drive the ol' girl every day to and from class.

Every one recognizes it - was even at a party, and once guy came up and said to me, "I knew you were here because I saw your truck, I just didn't know who you were."

Plus, the chicks dig it. ;)

Couldn't miss a chance to chime in on this topic! Senior here, trucks going to become my daily at the start of April after my enigne swap. Just got my new wheels in today. Funny thing is, a year ago at this time I was saying the same thing, "yeah guys! I'll be driving the truck after spring break in April!" Here I am a year later, and am finally at that point.

Freshmen right here workn on it but i got 2yrs so no rush just havn fun right now tryin to get the little bro interested hes 6 and only cares about the computer.

I just graduated high school last year but I drove my truck every day since April of 07. I had the oldest and loudest vehicle at my school.

I'm 16, own 3 trucks, I usually drive my 84 daily, but it's off the road at the moment. I'm parting out my 72 and 68 if anyone needs parts. And I'm about to paint my 84 desert tan. Cant believe Lucky hasn't chimed in yet.
