Does have some minor scratches and tape residue on the wood grain. Super emblem is in decent shape with minor scratching on the plastic lens, one small dent in the aluminum on the right side.. (hard to see in pics).. $45.00 shipped

Dang, I really need a 71' Emblem like that. I only have the 72' emblem, if Coonrod takes it and doesn't need the 71' emblem and wants to trade it for a flawless 72' super emblem to put on it. Trevor

LivRat, would you consider trading my emblem for your emblem and still selling it to Coonrod if he needs a 72' super emblem? I wend get a pic of my emblem, all the studs are clean and unbroken. Thanks Trevor

The 71 Cheyenne Super door and emblem that was posted are sold..
All I have is possibly a door without an emblem and 1 Sierra Grande door with emblem..

coonrod Here is the one other Cheyenne door I have, it does have some minor damage on the aluminum trim on both outer sides.. (shown in pics)
(floorescent lighting makes the woodgrain look green)

I also have a Sierra Grande door, Does have minor nicks and scratches.. one dent on the aluminum trim (upper left side)
These are a bit different than the Cheyenne ones as the emblem is mounted higher up on the door.

For those wondering, the 72 super emblem has scrolling around where it says super. The 71 emblem is more plain. The first couple pics are of a 71.

I never knew the differences.. (not that I paid much attention to it) I also learned that the Sierra Grande doors are different.. (the emblem is mounted higher up on the door).
Do you know if there is any differences the GMC's Sierra Grande emblems from year to year? or if and which ones even had the woodgrain?.. My 72 Sierra Grande 3/4 ton 4X4 never had a "woodgrain" glove box door or intrument cluster..

I have not found a difference in the 71-72 sierra grande emblems.
Interesting point, i just measured a bunch of my woodgrain doors and the emblems vary in height from the bottom of the woodgrain by almost 3/4". Doesn't matter if cheyenne or sierra????
