was there since thursday, had a buddy in it. was sorely disappointed with the whole process from registration on. we had a ton of fun anyway and he cheated them out of a 9 second pass with no license or certification, so it was still all good.

Re: pinks all out

83 mustang. it's a weird yellowish, greenish, goldish metallic color. usually runs 10.70's on motor and a 125 shot leaving soft put him in the 9's. we were amazed.

I was there and had a blast but I also thought the process was wacked.
I ran 10. 0's all three passes and they picked a 11 sec. class.
One of the things that got to me was they said they were going to take 32 cars for the shootout and in the end they didnt, Rich said something to the effect that he had been reading all the emails about the slower cars not having a chance at it so he decided to choose them. Which makes me believe that the " We have no idea what class were going to pick" speach we got before the show was not exactly true.
We still had alot of fun ,met some good people ,seen some cool cars and will be trying to get in again next year.

What did those that went think about the 72 with the camper?

the 72 with the camper wasn't from oklahoma was he?

Re: pinks all out

it was a 70, hugger orange with white bottom and roof. ran 10.80's. pretty impressive. it was funny to look at. yea, the whole from now on we are gonna have 32 and then having two 10 second classes with 32 and one nine then going with 16 in an 11 second class chapped me. but as said before, we had a ton of fun and met some great people.

Yes I believe he was from OK. he had it wrote on the side of the camper last time I saw him, the pinks crew sure liked him and his dog , they talked with him for a good while, he will be on the show for sure...

If you go to the elk city post that's in this racing section, his truck is on there. He's got a 300 shot of nitrous and a 502 bbc. Nice guy.

Re: pinks all out

it was last years post, and i guess that it rolled off. If you go to youtube and type in elk city street race, you should be able to find him. My truck is on there running against him.

I hope the Surgery went well. Keep us posted on your progress. They want to do surgery on my wife but she is fighting it hard since her last surgeon almost killed her.

He goes by FarmTruck around here......It's a wild piece for sure, probably made thousands on the street. It is a 502, with at least two stages....

I was coming back from san antonio on sunday and saw a lot of cars on the highway with pinks wrote in the window. pinks would have been a lot more fun than sea world........... the girls may not have thought so

I would guess a total of 300-400....Not sure, that kind of info is classified to a street racer.

Looks like im always a day late. The track in Ennis is like 8 miles from my house I live in Waxahachie right off 287.

Thats hillarious about that old truck I have a buddy in Houston whos about the same way hes got a ragged old 83 long bed 4 wheel drive with a big block and nitrous runs high 13s too.He used to take it to Baytown all the time.
