1960 Chevrolet Apache C20
 

I fell into this 1960 (or at least it seems as if it is one from the VIN) pickup via my brother-in-law (read, he bought it and it has sat at our place pretty much ever since). So, rather than fuss with selling it for him, I decided to buy it from him.

Underhood has a 305/350 (not sure which, have to look closer) swap - nothing fancy, but runs fine. Motor is mated to 3 on the tree.

First order of business will be a complete going over to mend anything running wise that needs attention. From there, we'll see...:D

def. a 60, but has a 62-66 gmc hood.

Thanks for the info Jon. I am a nOOb when it comes to classic (right term?) vehicles. As I said, kinda fell into this one and the bug may have bitten me :)

:hiya:.......welcome to the world of simpler vehicles, where you can actually see and get a wrench on the bolt that is about to break off:lol::lol:!!

Get the stuff you need straightened out and drive it around, then improve from there.

Looks like a pretty straight and solid truck. Don't seem to see many '60-'62 C20's. Let us know when you need help ;)

I will get some more pics of the engine bay when I get in there - carb needs a rebuild and a few other odds and ends...
