Transfer Case Question

I have a 70 K20 and it has what appears to be a NP203, I googled that t-case and it looks identical. Does anyone know what came as stock for a transfercase in a 1970? I have a feeling this is a later model year case and not o.e. to this truck.

Yes' I believe the 203 came later. I know some 70's had 205's with standards, not sure what was in the automatics.

203 would be 73 and later.
