need help with booster

I have a 67 c10 and it has a booster but I'm trying to get a replacement, only problem is that it doesnt have any part numbers on it so I dont know what to order. I thought it was stock so I ordered a remanufactured one for a 67 from advance auto parts, but it did not come with a bracket and the mounting points are different.

So I'm thinking about ordering one from a 72 c10, but just wondering if it will come with a bracket?

Also whats the difference between the delco booster and the bendix one? Apparently theres two different ones that can be ordered, I dont know what to go for. This is starting to become a headache and I havent even gotten started on bagging it lol

also the current master cylinder on the truck has a part number of 5470409 with 1-1/8" bore. I googled it and seems to me that the master is from a 70-ish camaro, but looked up a camaro booster and it doesnt seem to be the one on the truck at the moment.

Post the small numbers or letters off the pedal rod. I can use those to give you a part number. The 5470409 is a casting number on the master cylinder that can go to any one of a number of master cylinders. 10-1339, 10-1423 10-1481, 10-1496, 10-1511, 10-1521 (possibly the most common MC in existence), 10-1512, 10-1684, 10-1729, or 10-1815.

Go to www.cardone.com and the site will show a picture of every part. You can look up your booster applications too, and then see pictures from there. I'm not on the site right now, but it's fairly easy to navigate.

Let me know if you have any additional questions.

problem solved! It was off a 75 c10. I was lucky, my buddy works at advance and he was looking up boosters and noticed one that looked exactly like mine, I'm psyched!

Glad you got it figured out. The pedal rod id. number is typically inside the boot, so you must look closely. Don't forget that you can look up the number on Cardone's website. There is a ton of infomation there.

the whole booster was super rusty, I may have missed it though lol. Appreciate the help though, when my buddy called me about the booster I checked out the cardone website for some pics of a 75 booster and sure enough it was the one! :)
