i just got this p/u i been trying to find some history on it i would like to know if this package makes the truck more rare or valuble its a bonanza:ennyd::five::cf: swb p/s a/c tilt clock all the chorme trim rally wheels from the factory 350/350 auto the spirit of 76 package on this p/u has a red white and blue seat and blue door panels whit a spirit of 76 emblems and white sun visers the build sheet is in the glovebox and it looks like it just was printed the truck has 87k org miles i got it from the org owner never had any body work it has some rust in gm spots i drop it off to bodyshop its geting redone the some way it left the factory the seat in bad shape an i want to keep it factory but i dont know if i can got thit seat cover if anybody knows more about this package plz let me know thanks

As I mentioned in the PM I sent you, there aren't a lot of spirit trucks around...or even made. I would try to keep it as orig as possible, but that is just my opinion.

I wis I had more info on them, but I don't.

Perhaps contact Joe (elgracho), he might have some info.

Jeff I directed him to your page on specialty trucks. This one is rather odd in that it doesn't appear to have any of the exterior stripes, marking, etc.

While I wouldn't think it is the most desirable version of a Spirit truck, it's still as rare as any of them.

I agree that the integrity of the option should be maintained by keeping it as original as possible.

my bro in laws dad had one new in 76 he told me that it was white and had red white and blue Stripe one on each side from front to back not has many has the one on the site 73-87.com the owner told me that this one did not have any when it was new even the Rpo Dusnot say anything about the strips

I have been looking at the 73-87.com special edition and i think the spirit truck is a impact its got front air dam mudflaps and the same stripes and mirros plz let me know where that spirit truck ad come from

All the ads on my site have been purchased at car shows, swap meets, eBay, etc...for the sole purpose of educating and entertainings folks like us on these trucks. I am not the expert on special edition trucks like Joe is, that is why I suggest you visit his site or contact him to pick his brain.

That's cool that dare is site like I'm not trying to pick anyones anything I'm just trying to find out some history on my p/u I don't know who's joe is he the whit the beau James p/u if so I pm him and haven't heard from him I want to thank you and everyone else who are helping me
