Lmc dash w/tach

Does anybody have one?
THe Tach instructions say to hook it up to the coil.
Will this tach work with an HEI ignition?
I called customer service and they did not know.

Plug in in to the port mark tach on the distributor and ground it and your in business

It will probably not be very accurate, but ahould work OK
