Prerunner1982 12-23-2002 01:33 AM

i am not really stripping it.. just sanding down the rust and rough spots...there are a few parts where we will have to strip some paint, not sure how, it appears to peel pretty easy, and i was just planning on rattle cans.. thats what i did the tailgate and bed with...

cool, or i could try to do something like you did with your old lights and see how it turns out on mine?:) i think i'll need to start looking for a shade of blue like mine trucks, that way i can paint the ones i have now, and if i like it, keep it, and if not, get yours

Prerunner1982 12-23-2002 02:14 AM

ok, so you got me figured out... is there any other color for an in progress truck? actually, i was thinking primer black with flames and chrome wheels.

J-Spec C10 12-29-2002 09:58 PM

That is a lot of primer.... grill, emblems and bumpers too!

Hardcore primer :)

Saw you guys discussing taillights. You don't have to steal your buddy's rears. For @ $30, you can have a full set front and rear with reflectors and chrome trim - NEW! I have nothing to gain from this just passing on something I found. I but I bought a couple 85-87 quad headlight grilles from the guy last night for $25 ea on eBay. Check out mrtaillight.com - look under 'truck light kits'
