Body swap - mid 80's frame?

Hey everyone, this is my first post, but I'm a long time chevy truck owner and fan. I've always had the mid 80's style 4x4 truck though. I'd like to drop a 67 cab and front clip on an 80's 4x4 frame and have heard the floor of the cab is different... This is just going to be a rat rod/plow truck and will not be a show finish. Will I need to channel the body to fit the kickup of the frame? I've tried to search for pics or write ups or any type of this swap, but haven't had any luck. Is there anyone here that could give me and advice or direction? I have the 80's chassis and all my running gear and came accross a free cab and clip in pretty darn good shape!

Thanks for any help!
Kevin
