thread count?

Would anyone know what thread count is right for the tilt lever on my column? Is it 20 or 28 NF? It came from a 71 Blazer, but had "custom" levers/knobs on it when I bought it. I ordered all new levers and all fit fine except the tilt lever. m6: Either the new lever is the wrong thread count (28?), or the column has been re-threaded to accept the custom one (20 count). Any ideas? Cnut:

Re: thread count?

I sure thought they were 1/4-20 originally.

Re: thread count?

See now, that's what I thought, but back to the re-pop thread, the "new" one I got is 28. So I have a choice, recut the threads or send it back. I am looking under the hood for parts to send you to powder coat, I'll pm you when I get home. Cnut:chevy:
