hey guys, Merry Chrismas (or hannaka )(sp?)
Was looking for a perferably first gen. k/5 as a project in ohio. Anyone know of one or have one for around 2,000? Tried all the papers and some online sites, not much there, mostly late 80's crap :bowtie: :gmc: :flag: |
Are you daring to be different because your engine is upside down, or neon green??? :p

Check out my 71Jimmy4sale on the part for sale posts. It's not $2,000. but you tend to get what you pay for. It does have a rebuilt 307, auto, 4x4, and a lot of the restoration is already done. Am just down the road a piece from Cinci!! Huck ;)

I just got back from being out in the woods since 5:00 in the AM till now 10:30 , thawing out as we speak. I found a few 73-87 for the price, but i refused on them cause im gonna wait it out for a first gen 69-72 :D Super :bowtie: Chevy |
There's an Ochre/white one in Springfield, but I don't think he wants to sell it unless ya got big bucks? Seen it, but no for sale sign.

Hey ohioDan, see you mentioned springsfield
You fumiliar with crestline salvage yard ( huge place ) and Huck, I'd LOVE to have that jimmy, its just a matter of money :( |
Not real familiar with Springfield area. Deal mostly in Dayton and places south. There's a place in Miamisburg called Allotta Car Parts on State Route 725 that has quite a few 67-72 pickups, but the guy sometimes thinks he's sitting on a goldmine. At least there was the last time I was there. 3-4 mos. ago.

Don't you just hate people like the person OhioDan mentioned. Like he said, they think they are setting on a gold mine, and they let the vehicles sit and waste away while waiting for the gold mine to materialize.
