These come up on here every now and again (ebay finds, etc), so I thought I would post my latest addition of information that will make it to 73-87.com soon. Just thought you guys would like to see it and read about it. Wonder how the center section is made (roof, rockers, jambs, etc)?

I say we search for one to be a community project! :metal:

What's wild is the ad is for a place over in Ft. Smith, AR. That's not all that far away.

I think someone should find one. Take all the benches, make it a limo style set up. Drop it huge over 22s. That would be the real deal!

They weren't available thru GM, but rather in conjunction with GM I assume. They are coach builders, like Waldoch and others are today.

When i was a kid there was a taxi co that had a fleet of them that ran passangers to and form the airport to the port of miami to the cruise ships.

They were loooooooooooooooog in real life!

I wonder if there are any survivors left out there?

Man, that is a lot of door hinge pin bushings to replace on a community project.

While this is cool and all, it seems like a 12 passenger G-van would have sufficed a lot better than the price it cost to convert a Sub into a 15 passenger rig. If you think about it, in a group of 15 people there are probably at least 3 jerks you don't like anyway. Leave them behind and ride the G-van shuttle for less fare. Still neat and rare rigs.
