BBC swap into SWB 250/granny

Hello everyone
I have searched the forums pretty well and couldn't find the answers I need
I am going to swap the 454/th400 from my rusty Suburban to my SWB Big 10
which is currently underwhelming with the 250/granny combo -I see a more pro street look in the near future
I have the 'burb for most of the parts
mounts
crossmember
column
exhaust
I just need help on what needs adjusting and the driveline
I heard that since I already have the two piece unit I just have to swap half of it to adapt them together? This will be clearer when the parts start flying off but I would appreciate any advice from those who have done this swap to save on those "learning pains"
I also plan on a shackle/hanger lowering job on the rear -but I will start another thread for that topic
Thank you all for this valuable tool!

Any words of wisdom concerning the driveline issue would be greatly appreciated
I know the frame will take any engine swap but there are also many details to overlook that could make life difficult
Here is a pic -I will be taking more to document my work for anyone it may help
Thanks to all who make this site a great resource

Re: BBC swap into SWB 250/granny

Well just a quick update
Now I have a fuel problem -I think because the 454 has a return line on the fuel pump and I plugged it in a hurry to get her running
It ran fine for a while, until a major burn out, now it isn't getting fuel at the carb
Did I blow the pump? There isn't any leakage but obviously SNAFU
As to the driveline:
The carrier bearing is in the same location
So the front half goes with the trans and the rear half goes with the truck
In other words there is a rear half specific to long or short beds
and the front is specific to the trans
I also heard that th350 has a smaller slip yoke shaft -I was able to simply slide the two halves together since the manual and th400 are both big
