Light Bulb Application Guide?
Is there a Light Bulb Application Guide somewhere online so I can see which Bulbs go where on my 72 GMC?
I'd check it out myself but "Ratikle" is at the Mechanics Shop this week. Roger |

Re: Light Bulb Application Guide?
Longhorn,
What I've done is bought the "Clear" Lenses for the Brake and Back-up lights on my 72 GMC. I'm debating if I wanna run "Clear" Lenses on the the sides (Side Marker lamps), and I'm Definitely going to go with the Clear Signal Lenses in Front and run Amber Bulbs. I was going to run the "Chrome" type bulbs in back, (I use them on my Motorcycle) and like them a lot. I have ALL these Parts catalogs ordered but they're coming on a SLOW BOAT FROM CHINA, so I'm looking to people like you to "Help a Buruthar Out". I'm going to ASSUME that the Brake/Running Lights are an 1157 and the Back-up Bulb is an 1156??? The Side Marker Lights (Front & Rear) I believe are #194 , but I have no clue what the Front Signal Indicator bulbs are. Roger |

On top of that, I hear that these (see link) plug right in to your socket in back, with NO NEED for a Load "Thing-a-magiggy".

Re: Light Bulb Application Guide?
You have all those numbers dead on right, and the fronts would be an 1157 amber, avalible at any parts store or wall mart.
With those leds, you'd probably need to upgrade to an electronic flasher, which you can get at NAPA. |

Longhorn,
I've heard about these "LED Flashers" in some other of my Threads. People say its about a 30 Second job, just unplug the Old Standard Flasher and plug in the new one...correct? What is it that this Flasher actually does? Roger |
