1976 stepside choptop

I'm new to the board, here is my 1976 choptop 400/400 tunnel ram 2x4's full air ride canilever 8 valves 6" chop thinking of making it a hardtop convertible what do you guys think would you make it a hardtop convertible or leave it??:devil:

Sweet truck. I'd definitely leave it. It looks like a real nice job on the chop. Get another squarebody and make that a convertible.

Then leave it. If I had the opportunity I'd take it off your hands. Trade you a truck that would be suitable for a convertible. Just buy a blazer with a removable top.
When you get the chance can you post more photos or a link. I love the rat rod look on this truck and it really hits the nail on the head. |

Yeah i say leave it and if the chop was well excuted and has no air or water leaks then thats just another reason not to F with it.

Add some bueaty rings and add center caps and it will be perfect. Do you have any pictures of the chop provess on these trucks Any advice?

I will have to dig them up this is the second one we did other was a 1980 this one came out better :) on these models the best thing is to use same year hood to rap up cab it comes out real clean i will kind my pics
