Mikes console in AutoCAD....
I'm not sure if anyone has done this yet.. i know someone started...figured i would utilize my newly aquired AutoCAD.. sorry its been awhile since i have used it...

I started working on it, but I had trouble figuring out exactly how things went together. I was doing it in true 3D so each peice could then be its own drawing with dimensions. Also when I started doing it, work picked up again and I haven't had enough time to even play with it anymore.
You drawings look good. How did you do them? |
just went piece by piece off of mikes webpage.. and drew them in isometric... might try to do another view of it tonight.. i didnt do much work in 3D so that may take a bit for me to do...

here they are converted from bitmap to jpeg...MUCH MUCH smaller and will load faster.

I guess they look different but when you copy them off the thread and open them up in another program they seem to be fine. |
bigblock, can you sent those to me, when i right click and copy it only lets me save as BMP.
|
Jon,
your browser cache needs clearing out. When you right click, and click save picture as, just type in whatever you want to call it, and add the .jpg file type to it, such as, console.jpg |
browser cache? what the? how do i clean that?

in internet explorer,
click on "tools" at the top, then click on internet options, then under "temporary internet files" click on "delete files" |
Jon, just "save as" to your hard drive, then simply open the file you just saved and do another "save as" only change it to .jpg.

All you have to do is right click the file, click save picture as, and type in console.jpg or whatever.jpg. Just add the .jpg to the filename instead of letting your browser make it a .bmp file.
Oh, and to clear the cache, do as Eric stated. Then restart your browser. This remove the temp internet files and starts fresh. Most times this will fix the thing where it lets you save files with different file types, such as .jpg, .mpg, etc. |
thats a negative!
|
Works for me.
|
 im just stupid!
