Which bolt is it? TH350

I have 2 similar bolts. Same thread size, same metric head, but 1 is slightly longer. 1 goes into the speedo gear housing at the rear drivers side and 1 holds the cable linkage that runs into the shift kit through the passenger side of the tranny. I think I used a 10mm if that helps. Which one is which? Thanks.

My guess would be the longer one to the detent cable and the shorter one to the speedo gear.

I had the shorty in the detent cable and was getting fluid dripping out. There's not a little rubber seal or similar for that connection is there? I never saw one when removing the old tranny, but it was kinda hectic.

Poo, I swapped em and it did not help. I Wonder if the little plastic piece is cracked or something.

It may be cracked. I've had that problem before. I can't remember if it takes a seal or an o-ring. I imagine it would. Your best bet would be to get a new one and replace it. Good luck..

Thanks. I found a few pics and it does have a little rubber o-ring that must have been lost during the swap. I am going to try to find a suitable replacement at Lowe's before I spend the $20 replacing the whole thing. Well at least I know now, that is really the frustrating thing is not being sure.
