Parting out clean 1980 model Chevy truck
4 Attachment(s)
I bought this truck to use as a donor for my 63. I'm going to be using some mechanical parts, but all of the body stuff is fair game.
This is a one owner since brand new, never been painted, local Texas truck. The front clip is excellent, and I do mean excellent. Like I said, original paint. The bed is unbelievably clean, even for a Texas truck, it's special. Cab sheetmetal isn't too good. Some rust near the edges of the floor pans. Doors have dents. Apparantly, the guy left the windows down or something to cause rust in floorboards. Non air truck, non electric door truck. Tell me what you need and I will quote prices and get pictures. No shipping on the big stuff obviously. These pictures are for tonight. I can and will get more tomorrow as requested. That's tree sap on the hood and body, not surface rust. |
Re: Parting out clean 1980 model Chevy truck

cann i get pictures of the engine bay and the dash?
etc... i can probably get away with a few things... |
Re: Parting out clean 1980 model Chevy truck
I will get pictures of the engine bay and interior tomorrow when it's light out. I am keeping all of the engine stuff though as well as the steering and suspension and brakes. All of that is going onto my 63.

Re: Parting out clean 1980 model Chevy truck
Kevin, I might be interested in just the rear wheel tubs if they are in nice shape...and if you are willing to pull and ship them...and seperate them from the bed.

the retainer for the ebrake cable end (on mine) snapped... how much? |
Re: Parting out clean 1980 model Chevy truck
I don't know if they interchange. If you find out they do, I'd go 20 bucks for this one.

Re: Parting out clean 1980 model Chevy truck

Re: Parting out clean 1980 model Chevy truck
Interested in the drivers side headlight bezel if it is factory metal and not aftermarket plastic, if you want to sell it separate.

Re: Parting out clean 1980 model Chevy truck
It looks like the whole front clip is spoken for. I will know for sure after this weekend.
I still have the park brake pedal if dammitmichel wants it still. |
Re: Parting out clean 1980 model Chevy truck
i do but i have to wait until next week to send money (paycheck) but i doo want it..
|
Re: Parting out clean 1980 model Chevy truck
Fellas, if you need anything, step up quickly. The cutting torch is coming out Tuesday morning and this thing is going away this week.
So far the front clip is gone and the rear wheel tubs are spoken for unless anyone wants to buy the whole bed. I'd rather sell parts and make a few bucks than sell it for scrap prices. |
Re: Parting out clean 1980 model Chevy truck
