More hood questions
 

In reasearching the hood latch/radiator fill panel issue in my other post:

I have noticed that my hood seems to differ from most I have seen. Instead of the typical dimpled holes on the front for the emblem, my hood has four slotted holes, which are not recessed. The truck cab is definitely a 51, but I'm wondering if the hood is from perhaps 53+ Anyone have a thought on this?
