Just about any parts store (napa, o'reilly, auto zone) has them. At least I have got them there in the past. Im kinda suprised LMC doesn't have them.

Most parts stores will order both if you ask them nice! If they show more than one at your local store ask them to order both and then install whichever one fits your truck. Well, that is true at my local O Reilly and Carquest stores....

just take the driveshaft to a drave shaft shop and have it rebuilt. i installed 3 carrier bearings in mine before i took it and had it balanced these 30+ year old shaft trend to get out o balance of the years

If it's a 1.38" diameter bearing, I have a brand new one... I needed the 1.18" diameter but I ordered the wrong size. PM me.

X2.....easiest way to do it is to have someone else do it...they can be a HUGe pain.

By the way, I had one go out on a 74 LWB chevy. When it goes out, you know it.....BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM lol. It starts slapping the bed every time it turns because it doesnt have anything to keep it straight.

BTW, LMC does has them. Pg.146 of newest catalog (CB55) $16.95 or $19.95 depending on witch style you have.

I'll also go with the vote on having it done at a DS shop. Re-balance is a good thing.

And, there's actually 3 types of bearings. If you have the big-ass triangle shaped one, you're going to need to take it to a shop so you don't wreck the bearing housing.
