So i decided to get this kit since i am far to lazy to continuously calculate my mpg. Its an Arduino micro controller and a LCD that displays instant, overall tank, and some other mpg calculations. Heres the link to the kit:

I ended up putting it up in the headliner where there would be the temp thingy in the nicer trucks, but mine didnt have that, it was just a filler plate. So i made an aluminum plate at work, with holes for the LCD and buttons, and then a switch next to it. I rapped the plate in vinyl to that matched the grey in my interior, and the pics......

hey thanks truckdude....at least someone read it, lol. Its rather convenient workin at a machine shop, can make stuff outta the leftovers....makin a new cover plate and buttons on saturday, hopefully finish and put up some pics....

So i took it apart again to put on the bezel and button standoffs, but forgot to take pics while disassembled, so next time, lol. I put in a usb cable in case i needed to reprogram it, and it sits up in the garage door opener spot. The opener Velcro never stuck to the roof anyway.
