Check LMC or Classic truck

Re: Looking for windshield frame cap/cover..

Already did...
I've checked LMC, Classic Parts/Chevy Duty, Classic Industries, Brothers, Jim Carters...

These are not the "Drip Rail Deflectors" from what I can tell.

Re: Looking for windshield frame cap/cover..

Could these from GMC Pauls be the one? No pics on their website...

"69-72 Blazer Windshield Corner Water Deflectors " "Fits at top corner of windshield on either side where the vent window, removable top and windshield pillar come together. Factory type metal insert gives excellent fit every time."

Re: Looking for windshield frame cap/cover..

aren't those "caps" part of the door weather stripping? Check page 15 of the lmc catalog. Part number 10.

Re: Looking for windshield frame cap/cover..

I think what OldCreek is looking for is not the deflectors, as shown in Item 3, page 15, of the LMC catalog.

Instead, lks dcvn has it right. The caps are part of the driver and passenger door weatherstripping, as shown by Item 10 on the same page.

It just so happens that I received a pair of these today, which were ordered from Manes Parts in Odessa, MO. The triangular caps are an integral part of the rubber stripping, one for each door.

Ok. Do these have a metal insert or just the rubber seal?

I could be wrong, but IIRC there is a metal plate molded into those. I don't know how the screws would hold otherwise.

Just put some in and there is a metal plate molded into these for stability.

When I purchased mine, I think from an ebay vendor they had a metal support in them. I can't see more than one manufacturer for these so I would assume all of them have the metal backing.

I believe #3 screws to the top.

#10 screws to the windshield frame.
