got this from my grandfather a couple years ago.my great grandfather bought it new in D.C. in 50 and it was used on the farm till probably the early till mid 70's.grandad parked it in the old corn crib when the brakes failed and there it sat till he sold the farm.not real sure on a direction yet.but i have pulled the front clip and the head.the motor is siezed up pretty good and me and my father-in-law haven't had much luck freeing it up.now that the chevy is on the road i might get some time to work on the old girl, and make up my mind which way i want to go with it.

yea i like the"patina" look of that truck crossed with a shop truck look, like the name of the farm on the door and what not.i just don't know if this is something i want to customize or not,but that locked up flathead might make my decision easier!

Don't see many of those. That's got some cool factor!

I spotted a running one about 4 years ago.It was complete though slightly rough.I had just closed on a house and didn't have the $$$.It was gone when I did.I think a 383auto and leave the "patina".Just my take on something cool to cruise.

thanks for the nice comments guys.if it has patina it is gonna be faux patina just cause i want it to last many years,i'm never getting rid of this truck!(wife said so!!!)mainly because it has stayed in the family for so long and this is all i have left of the farm since grandad sold it:waah:and one more pic for ya.

how big are the new Hemi's anyway? wink-wink

you could also make a car show head scratcher like I did when I had my 40 Plymouth 2 dr sedan. a 57 Chevy poked .120 with a clifford intake and 94 F250 4.9 multi port injection. the Isky cam made a real difference also.
