This is worth it right?

Found this truck in some local classifieds. 600 bucks. Its a 61 3/4 ton. I think I could come up with the money, its 2.5 hours away and I just sold my car trailer so something would have to be araged there, but I have a 71 and would like to collect decades, aside from the driver door it apears pretty solid, what do you all think? O ya, if it dosnt sell soon it goes to the crusher-not cool at all would be a shame!

If they were going to crush it I'm sure you could work up a better deal than 600 bucks... but yeah its definitely worth saving at that price.

The outside doesn't look too bad, and the interior looks to be unmolested which is rare. If it doesn't run I would make them an offer.....the worst they can say is no. It would be a shame for this to go to the crusher.

Yeah, I'd do it - if I had the space to store it. :smoke:

Yes I reckon you should go for it at that price. Most of the panels look straight so in parts alone its a bargain. Phil

If you have spare time even at $600 you could make money parting it out, those hood are rare and so is the grille. One a good day just those two could probably fetch you $400. All that would be better the the crusher!!! Sorta like a donor card on a DL ;-)

Is that a dual master cylinder? LOVE the interior..... I'd pick that big old jalopy up in a minute - Lots of parts there, GMC stuff is tough to find as stated.

I definitly am gonna try I fell in love with it already> I have a 71 GMC and a 91 GMC, I am a GMC finnatic! Just like the looks better, plus in these days they were rarer and heavy duty. I would like to decade jump, 51, 61 ,71. If I pick this up that just leave the 51.(Good luck with that one:lol:)
