1972 Suburban

Well my son in law bought a 72 Suburban that he was going to restore but then found one that was already set up like he wanted so the other Suburban must go the wife/daughter says. It is a 1972 Suburban 1/2 ton with tailgate and hatch but he is keeping the hatch and the steering column for his other Suburban. They both have rust in the hatch but in different locations so he is going to take the best out of the two and make one. It only has the front seat but did have add on air conditioning that is partially there. It has current California tags on it and a clear title that matches the frame and the spid and vin plate. The only other rust that I saw was by the drivers side lower corner. He is looking to get 1800.00 without the wheels and tires.

Here is the Suburban that he bought. It is an original big block Suburban and has lots of extras too.

New price

Hee is what the Suburban looks like now. He is using a few pieces for the new Suburban that he bouhgt nad the price has been reduced to 1300.00 or best offer. It has a clean California title that has current registration. It has disc brakes on front and the Po said he rebuilt the POSI rear end. If you are interestd in this Suburban you can give him a call at 707-386-4695 as the wife wants it gone now.

Well since it looks like nobody wants a Suburban whole I might have to take it apart and cut up the tub. It will be a few weeks before I can get to it, just hate to take a good Suburban and part it out.

It will cost you far less to ship a clean rust free truck than it will to repair one that has rust/dents and needs body work. I'm just sayin...

Re: 1972 Suburban

Shoot, I would LOVE to buy this for my Cummins conversion and Vacaville is not out of the question for a drive but we're still working on paying my wife's van off this year so another vehicle purchase is out of the question. Just know that there probably ARE people interested in it as is, without chopping it up.

Re: 1972 Suburban

It is sitting in my daughters driveway right now but she wants it to be gone soon. I hate cutting up a good Suburban to make it a parts vehicle when so many Suburbsns have lots of rust issues that maybe should have been parts cars. The vin alos matches the frame and the SPID too which is a bonus to someone wanting to build a Suburban.
