85 silverado swb, 454 & th400 build
 

yeah, so its already built, and bought. but i have beautification and restoration to do. just a sweet ass stock, clean lookin cruiser with some serious power when the need for showing off arises. figured id start something here since ive gotten so many ideas and info just from this site. its basically as the title reads, 2.73s in a 10 bolt, 275s in the rear and 255s up front. that will change in time. gonna do some work to it tomorrow, so ill put up some good pics of it, mainly of the underside, but some underhood since ill be doing ignition and fuel tuning.

this truck belongs to classic87', i joined this site cause of his truck. i hope he doesnt get mad, but could somebody photoshop it red for me? i just want a better vision to stare at, the one in my head fades from time to time...

I'm working on a 85 swb putting stock 454 in front of a 700r. I need a posi for it and not sure of what it is was told 10-bolt 8.5 is factory just not sure? thanks for any info u can give me

Nothing wrong with complimenting someones truck by asking to have it photoshopped like you envision your build. I would suggest that you make your request in our photoshop forum for best results...:)

thanks, i guess that seems more logical.


if you are super ghetto, just tack weld the gears together. it should be a 10 bolt 8.5", mine has been holding up very well. i was a little worried, but it seems stout enough with 275s in the back. i dont know how it will handle 305s though.
