ok whats you guys think about a 2000's stepside bed on my 79 i got the request in the phto shop seciont on here so we'll see how it turns out i'm just wantin to see what u all think on the matter

Have seen a couple of squares done this way . Even saw a 67-72 one time .

Did not like at all . Lines on our trucks do not coordinate with this type of mod. . Please spend your time & money on something else. !

have not seen the "newer" but have seen plenty of the 90's fleet /steppers on 60-'2 to 80's... alot of the body lines match..
that's the important part......
you can always mod a bed to fit newer tailights if the beds arent a complete swap.. but that's difficult unless you are good at fabrication

hey dude... might as well throw some "ribbing" in there and make it a smooth closed off bed.. maby one of those diagonal license plates...
just my .02
make the best out of every experiment...

Why not just put a fleet bed on it and be done. Seems like your spending a lot of time to not gain a whole lot.

yea ive kinda stalled out on it i would proably chage the bed if i had a job so im stuck sittin at the house being a full time dad for now and thinkg about what to with it
