'87 grill on '83 sheetmetal

Can anyone tell me if an '85-'88 grill/headlight bezels will 'bolt on' to '83 sheetmetal?

I bought an '83 parts truck to swap the front end onto my '77. I have a an '88 grill. Those are my favorite grills and I'd like to use it on the '83 core support.

Anyone have any experience with this?

it will work with no problems I also have 83 sheet metal with 85-88 buckets on mine

the core supports are the same so it should work out just fine

Dually. Make sure you swap out the headlamp bezels as well. the 83 ones look goofy with the 85-88 grille.

I swapped 87 grille and buckets on my 84, bolted with 0 issues. Looks 10 times better than the flat black tube grille that was on there.
