Junkyard score
I went to the boneyard today,I wasn't looking for anything just went to cure my boredom.I stumbled upon this bumper that was on a Blazer that looked like it was flipped at least twice. They only wanted $60.00 so I couldn't pass it up.I started sanding it as soon as I got home and hope to have it painted by this weekend.I also need to drill some holes to run the wires for the lights, drill a hole for a lisence plate light and drill some drain holes in the bottom,it was full of water. This thing is effen heavy.I would guess at least 150 pounds.http://i860.photobucket.com/albums/a...0/DSC01545.jpg

Re: Junkyard score
I thought I was going to kille myself when I took it off the other Blazer,I wasa flying solo.I just like the fact that it has a built in hitch and I can finally take my spare tire out of the cargo area.

Re: Junkyard score
It might........ i have a 37'' spare and two jerry cans and i get saggy butt syndrome.
But thats all going to change when i save up for new rear springs. |
Re: Junkyard score
If it the rear does sag that will just give me an excuse to get a winch with a heavy mounting plate to even things out.Right now I have 4" blocks but I'm planning on getting 8" springs as soon as I get a job
