bazooka water cooled subs
 

i have 2 of these and im debating on ordering the kit to make them water cooled...does anyone else have these kinda subs

I've never even heard of that. Cooling isn't that big of an issue for a sub, its the amps that need a little TLC when it comes to cooling...

I've seen some SPL cars that use Nitrous to cool the air inside the box and also the motor of the sub, but these things are serious business and not something you will see very often.

all i know is if ya look up the statistics a 10 water cooled handles more power then a 12 non cooled

I wouldn't bother..

it's easier and cheaper, and overall better, just to get a nice sub and a box.

<---Agrees with Mongoose 110%...Get a nice A/B class amp that can power a high excursion woofer in a properly sized, sealed box, and get ready for way better sound than a bazooka could even think of creating...:metal:

One of the BIGGEST mistakes people make is assuming that power translates to higher SPL when in reality, it doesn't make much of a difference at all. If I take 250w and then 350w to the same sub, you wouldn't see much of a difference in overall output. You could measure it, but the average person wouldn't notice.

don't bother...

there is a reason why Bazooka quit making those.
1: they didn;t sell
2: they were a real pain in the rear
3: tyou have to install a radiator, reservoir, electric water pup, and electric fan or else it is worthless...
4: the last two of those make noise. + 50% power is about 1-2db... the fan and water pump will probably raise your noise floor by that much = no gain.

im planning to buy this Bazooka BT Series Complete Bass Solution but its bit expensive...
