I know it is a F*rd but it was left to me by my Grandfather. It is fun to drive and easy to work on!

Those wheels and tires on th trailer are almost as cool as the car!

Maybe you should combine them............

very cool. got some more info for us?

maybe a 1918-22 ish T?

still running 6 volt with gen? or has the electrical been updated?

love the old cars in original shape w/ original gear. Nowadays most people wouldn't even know how to start it, much less drive it(stop it, park it etc)

and please keep the old style wheels and all. and more pics maybe?

It is a 1923 Roadster. Still 6 volt start on battery and switch to mag. It is like the top picture, I have had it for16 years. You are right about starting stopping and driving. You need 3 feet and four hands until you get going then it is cruise control ! I have more pictures of some of my past endeavors I will post later. Been a car/truck nut since 5/31/51 day I was born !

about 4 years ago I mechanically restored a 23 TT for a customer. I was chosen for the task because I was the only guy who knew how to drive it. (it pays to listen to your Dad) I spent the better part of a month in the back corner of the shop where everyone left me alone. it was great. I even went so far as to get the adjustable tappets and timed all 4 cylinders. man that thing ran so smooth!!

Thank You

I was thinking about all the cars and trucks I have had over the years and looking back I guess I had some cool rides but didn't really realize it at the time. I drag raced my SC/Rambler with low 7's in the eigth and high 10's in the quarter. I was track champ in '75 winning 24 of 26 races. My son drove the race truck he was 17 when he started racing and I did the setups. We had 59 starts, 52 top 10's 32 top five's and 6 wins, 2002 Champion. What I have left is my 69 GMC which I got in July, the '23 model T and the 1963 Buick Special.

Just ran across this thread, i see we have something in common. Ours is a '24 canadian car. We just got it running again after a 4 year rest, it was a running car but very cobbled together, we are making it right, but trying to retain some of the patina---the shiney ones are just too nice and i feel unrepresentative of the real cars that were in use. But there certianly are some downright beautiful examples out there.
