Mines a longbed, 4" suspension lift, 33" Thornbirds on 15X12 wheels. I'm ready to go bigger since my tires are getting worn out. Yours should look sweet when finished, I'd like to have a project like that.....enjoy it!:D

Its no use man. The only thing you can do with that truck is let me pick it up and take it off your hands.
I wanted a step when I found mine. 4"springs and 2" body. 36" TSL radials |
Nice project truck you got there, looks like it has a lift on it already.
|
Gotta love those 67/68 front ends. Don't let that project get away!
Slick, I still love your truck. Very nice ride.............. anyone would be proud to drive that chick magnet! |
PONT:
Chick magnet, huh?.....and I thought my wife wanted me to sell it so I could buy her a sport utility. I'll probably keep it forever, my uncle bought that old truck brand new in 1971....but I'm still looking for a shorty to cruise in like yours. |

And then there's Breeh's truck, WOW! I'm totally convinced that slots belong on these trucks, wish I could find a set of 6 lug 15x14's, I would have them on my truck!

Thanks Pont, I admired your rig a long time before I put this one together. Did you decide whether you are going 4spd or auto in yours?
|
I keep holding out trying to find a 4spd/NP205 combo, strictly for the ease of install at this point, but haven't found anything yet. Guarantee, you'll be the first person I contact if I decide to bite the bullet and go with an auto set-up.
Thanks Breeh......... Rob |
Pont I just saw a 4speed/205 for sale today. Wes, it was Wes I think.
|
Thanks for the heads-up Randy, I also saw that post from Wes. If he was closer to me, I would seriously consider it. Around my area, that combo normally sells for around $300. The $100 more for Wes' isn't a problem but by the time I traveled to get it or had it shipped to me, I would be well over $500 into that setup. That's a little more than I'm willing to spend.
Thanks again for thinking of me on that combo, keep your fingers crossed for me! Rob |

I won this off ebay for only $700.00 dollars
Here is another pic of it |
looks like the body is in real good shape if it was me I would put a 6" susp. lift with 35" tires to me the only way to go on a 4x4 is the 4 forward transmission but that is only personal preferance
