1965 SWB Custom score!! another barn find thread!

I got a lead on this truck earlier in the year and just bought it last week. Same owner since 1967 - Custom Cab with 6 cyl and powerglide. 59K miles with a few dents, but 95% rust free!!!

I got it home and gave it a good cleaning. The seat had an old grungy cover on it. I could see some of the original material through a small tear, so I pulled the seat cover off and found the original Custom Cab seat in near perfect shape!!

Thanks guys!. I'm definitly keeping it. I am planning on building another stocker (like the black 65 I had). I already have a 66, but the body on this one is sooo much better. I may transfer all the goodies off my 66 on to this truck - like power steering, power brakes, A/C. I have a factory 327 in my 66, but it sure would look cool to have a truck with all the options with a 6 cyl!!
I can't reveal how much I paid - I'll get accused of taking advantage of an old lady :lol:. However, she wanted me to make her an offer but I wouldn't. I made her price it and I paid it in full!! Joshua |

hard to call because mine has some things yours doesn't, & yours looks a bit more solid...but i kinda like your barn find more than the '66 SWB BBB i just came across...should be mine on Monday & I'll post pics...
curious though, what color is that? because I think that was the original color of the one I'm getting...thanks for any info |
