I just picked up a running 1981 silverado with all the options for a sick price of $300.00 cdn. from the original owner. apart from the power disc brakes and power steering, has anyone ever used any of the options, pwr locks, windows,dual tanks for their 64 -66 gm trucks? I am also sniffing around maybe taking the electrics out of the 81 and moding them into one of my 66's. with todays economy ss at my place means scrounging scrappers.and with more time than money if I want to be profiling proper I better get good at making stuff work. any feedback on this would be much appreciated.
