wtb- still looking for clear gauge cluster lens(es).

before you scrap that cluster because the gauges are wasted. look at the lens. remove it with a 1/4" nut driver and wash it. If it is not deeply scratched or sunburnt(tan-ish looking) or cloudy. I'll give up to $15 for for it and $5 to ship. little more for a perfect one. let me know, thanx , crossy

A clock arm hole is OK , but not preferred.

clear plastic lens that covers the gauges. not the plastic bezel.

remove it with a 1/4" nut driver and wash it. If it is not deeply scratched or sunburnt(tan-ish looking) or cloudy then I'll give up to $15 for for it and $5 to ship.

what year are you looking for?

73-87 are interchangeable as long as it is NOT the real short ones offered only in idiot light trucks.

I have this one out of a 77 Burb. The truck came from Texas and it is over 30 years old, so not perfect. Some clouding around where the guages sit behind, but seems to be clear at each guage. Very minimum scratches in one or two places. Looks to me like a good daily driver, but not sure how that compares to what you are replacing. Here is a pic with it back on the cluster (a little bit of sun glare, sorry) and one pic holding it up (still some glare and looks worse that it does up close and personal).

Can ship it Monday. Let me know what else you may need and I can fill one of those flat rate boxes.

Re: wtb- still looking for clear gauge cluster lens(es).

I don't think at 19" long they will fit in a flat rate box, but boxed alone it will weigh less than 2# . they changed the priority rate again lately so the best way is to do it is mark the box MEDIA MAIL(must be marked) in a box 22x4x8 so it will go at like $3.

as long as the plastic in front of the guages is not smoky INSIDE the plastic cause that can't be buffed out. neither can the brownish sunburn in some old ones. . the pic looks OK except for reflections of your shirt. all the fine swirls I can live with. lemmeknow what you think, crossy

Re: wtb- still looking for clear gauge cluster lens(es).

So it sounds like the $20 should cover it as long as I can find a small enough box to not get overcharged on size. I can ship Monday

Crossy,
I've got two. One is out of a 77 with a clock hole. The other is out of a 88 without a clock hole, but with a trip odometer hole. Both are in great shape-no smoke. I also have the speedo with the trip'o if interested. Later, Tom

How many do you want?? I have more than a handful here. Being in the northeast, the lenses don't discolor as easy as down in the heat. I think I only have one with the clock arm hole.

I'm gonna try to go to Carlisle, but think the wife has us doing something that weekend. I hope not, want to go. But in a way I don't want to go, I don't have a job so no money to do anything. I want to build my crew cab!!!
