2" lowering blocks & 15" wheels?
I am looking at CPP's catalog (Chevy truck catalogs seem to be my new porn!) I notice that on their Rear Lowering Block Kit it says the 2" kit is "not recommended for 15" wheels." Ive got the shock relocation kit, the adjustable track bar and 5" lowering springs in my garage ready to install, and would like to go down another 2" in the rear for a 5/7 drop. Whats the issues with 15's and 2 in lowering blocks? Can anyone running this set up with 15's chime in and let me know. I really want to run 15X6 wheels.
thanks...Nailz |

It puts the bottom of the u bolts below the wheel rim, which is illegal in a lot of states.

thats called a scrub line, if you have a flat, you want to still be able to roll with out digging in...some sort of runflat tire would do the trick.

Thanks for the responses guys.! I got the springs in, shocks relocated and track bar installed. 5" lowered in the rear looks pretty damn good, but hope to get another 2" after the notch and blocks. Of course one thing leads to another and it looks like my exhaust is hanging way too low!
