05 sierra lift help

hey guys my buddy has an 05 gmc sierra half ton and he is looking to put a 6 inch lift on it,
first anybody have any tips on which kit to go with?
second my biggest worry is pinion angle and cv binding- is this a legit concern or not?
finally ANY input would be greatly appreciated. he wants to run 35's. thanks for the help in advance!!

I used a 6" Fabtech lift, has 35" (315/70r17) tires
Part of the kit is to drop the front 'axle' a little bit and it looks like there are wider blocks in the CV part, I haven't noticed any issues with binding, and haven't had any problems in 1500 miles so far...

Ok, I went and took a couple more pics...
This one shows that spacer I mentioned, I don't remember if the CV axle bolted straight to the differential or if there was a small spacer there before. That wide spacer and the bolts in it are new and part of the lift.

Oh, the left front tire is nearly all the way to the left, for reference...

Different camera angle:

Hope it helps!!

Nah, they're Eagle Alloys, not sure of the model, the shop made me a good deal on them and they looked good, so I got them.
Glad I could help!
