1973 Suburban window questions
 

Looks like I last logged in like 3 years ago... oops!

I've got a 1973 Suburban I've had for almost 20 years, and it needs a windshield and the rear cargo windows need to be popped out for rust repair. But, all I can find window gasket-wise show they fit from 1976 and up, leaving the 1973-75 years a bit destitute... was there some huge change in 76, or is there some CYA going on from the window gasket sellers?

I was thinking they all are the same.

May have somthing to do with factory tint the glass may be a bit thicker. but im not sure. i bet it will work any way. i changed a side glass not to long ago and reused the rubber.

Might also be the moulding that fits into the rubber seal, I don't know what the earliest ones had.

As in some had no molding, some had chrome molding, and some had black molding. :D

My 73 has later model privacy glass in the rear. I think the rubber may be original though. I can check later tomorrow.

I like the idea of prettier better... ol' Oscar the Subhuman could use all the pretty it can find. :D
