lifted 89 s10

this is my brothers 1989 s10 blazer.
- small block chevy
- 3 inch suspension lift
- 3 inch body lift
- custom home made front bumper
- 4 off-road lights mounted on roof
- cb and cb whip
- 35x12.5 r 15 mud terrain tires

to come
he's currently solid axel swapping the front suspension
and flipping the axel in the rear which will give him another 6 inches of lift
hes also rebuilding a 500 cadillac big block

here is a picture of what it looks like without the solid front axel.
its actually lifted high for being an s10. they are hard to get lifted because of the front suspension

That's pretty nifty dime. Wish I would have kept my 91 Blazer. Other than being all stock and those 235;s could keep it going through some major crap (I still don't know how I ever did it. Well, I did always get stuck when my heavy set bud came with) it also was a Sport, rare moonroof, power everything, special seats, etc etc... If I still had it I woulda SAS's that thing. Keep us posted on when he SAS's that thing. What axle he usin? How overall big and tires he wanna use?

38-40" range is pushing it for a D44. 35's is big, 37's are about pushin it. Depends on how hard he runs it though. I've seen rockcrawlers run D44 with 40's, and not break too much, but even they'll say that's a bit on the high end. If he wants to abuse the hell out of it, I would run D60/14B with 38 or 40s

yea thats good point, i told him, he sed he knows which is why hes using the dana 44 to get everything in place and use it so he can at least drive it, but not offroad it until he gets the money for a dana 60.
