The right side....... I know I know .... I screwed up the position on the super ... it should be under the start of the cheyenne. It's my pa's fault. We have a lot of fun headin to some junkyards and I couldn't do it without him.

This was with about 4-5 inches of lift with 37's.

70 Jimmy 01-10-2003 09:06 PM

You didn't screw up if you like them there. It's not like your truck is stock. I'm not a 4x4 guy but, DAMN! THAT'S FINE!

lunatic 01-10-2003 09:19 PM

That is a awsome looking truck, nice job on it

71blksuper4x4 01-10-2003 09:26 PM

What do you mean my truck isn't stock.....hehe no one is supposed to know that j/k thanks for the complements

Mike C 01-10-2003 09:37 PM

Nice truck. Do you have any more shots of it with the 37's? That's the look I really like. I'm going to 8 lug axles on my Jimmy someday, and I'd like to upgrade to 37's when I go to 16" wheels. I just don't want to run too much lift. What was the combo to get the 37's underneath? And what kind of backspacing on the wheels? They look like 4" bs 16x8's.

71blksuper4x4 01-10-2003 10:06 PM

Mike, I would really run 6 inch of lift to keep from trimming to much of the fenders with 37's. These are 37 inch Goodyear Wrangler MT's (Military Humvee style) x 12.50x 16.5. I have 16.5 inch American Racing outlaws that are 10 inches wide. Not sure on backspacing, I will talk to my dad about it and I will get back to you.

71blksuper4x4 01-11-2003 05:18 AM

Thanks for the complements on the truck, it means a lot to me.

Travis: I live on hwy 31 about a mile north of osage city lines, on your way towards Burlingame. I am a couple houses from the osage cemetery. I definately know about the Thompson farms, just not sure whom exactly your talking about. Dwayne possibly??? If so, I date Perry's (Dwayne's son) oldest daughter Kristy. If not you are talkin about the Thompson's that live past the Osage City school.

travis martin 01-11-2003 10:35 AM

I always went to the dad's house. It was just south of the budwieser place on the east side of the road. One of the grandkids did rockcrwling with a motorcycle. It's been 4 years since i have been down there. I know where burlingame is also. I went to vo-tech with some kids from there. Ben Miles ever heard of him? He's a pretty good guy. We will have to get together and shoot the bull.

Yukon Jack 01-11-2003 11:39 AM

Well, as you know, I'm a 4x4 guy and yep, I'm drooling all over my keyboard. A few more months and my wife's grandparents will be back to Osage from Arizona and I'm sure we will be heading up there to say hello - have to try to catch up with ya then.

nitor 01-11-2003 01:37 PM

Man, that's a nice truck.
