this is my new truck 67 GMC crewcab can anyone tell me anything? Or do you have any papper work about scott bult crew cabs?

That is a beast! Those were taken from the GM factory to Scott's factory. Scott's extended the cab as you see.
A lot of those trucks were used as logging and forest service trucks.
I see factory tow hooks, does it have a lot of other options too?

no tow hooks are it. It is a 3/4 ton 4x4 with a v6 and a 4 speed. The truck is a old state rig. I am looking for any papper work that anyone can copy for me. thanks

I got a 2002 duramax diesel that I plan on putting in the truck. I am going to put it on the 2002 frame so it will be a crewcab dully when its done.

I would love to have that!! The only thing that looks odd is that triangle piece between the front and rear windows. I have often thought that would look better if it were painted black and you tint the side windows as to appear to be all one window. I still love it though!!

I just set the 1967 cab on the 2002 frame. it looks like it will worke good. The duramax dous not hit the cab it will fit good.. will get pics latter.

As a kid I would see crew cabs, mostly Dodges on railroad maint. crew fleets. I would hope to find one but they were used hard.

Would have been nice if the P.O. hunted down a 67 GMC clip. A period 351 Toro Flow GMC V6 Diesel and period wheels would really be a stand out in a crowd. As you can tell, its all about nostalgia for me:mm:

Hi i just sent the wiring harnes to PPE. I should get back in a few weeks. I have been looking for gages if any one knows of a good company? I am trying to stay original looking. I am going to take some pics of the frame, and cab mounts and also where I cut the back of cab to clear the frame and gas tank.

Can't you retain the original gauges with an LS swap?

You can. If you use a newer OD tranny, you will need to get an electric to mechanical converter for your speedo. And I'm pretty sure a factory tach wouldn't work.

I used Autometer gauges for my swap too.


Awesome crewcab, and I'd love to see what you did for the cab mounts to get it onto the newer frame. I'm thinking of swapping a 'burb body onto a newer diesel frame too. Some pics of the firewall to engine clearance would be great too.
