Two Offered on a Lot

You don't too often see them "in our years" offered for sale "two-at-a-time" on a used car lot any more. Both window-priced at $ 3,000, with phone #'s

Guess the recession is bringin' 'em out of hiding, maybe.

These are not mine & I have no interest in any of them - just spotted these located on a "pay-by-the-week-to-park & sell it yourself " car lot a few blocks from my office.

The copper colored one is a '72 long bed, looks like maybe 3/4 ton. Has later-model (late '70's ?) fender badges stating "8-454" on it. Locking doors for gas fillers on both sides of the bed for auxiliary side tanks maybe. Guess maybe you'd need those w/ a 454. Missing the tailgate.

"Ole Yeller" is a '67 small back glass, long wood floor bed. Says "283 - auto." Looks pretty clean re-done.

Also if "wheelin" is your thing, a cool '72 Land Cruiser that says "Chevy 350."

The '57 Chevy 2-door in the background is gone today. It went quick.

Anybody wants more info, PM me for a pdf file of the photos with phone #'s.

I saw this one in Conway, AR a couple weeks ago for $4350obo... It's pretty rough on the outside (rusted out rockers, dents, etc) but had a recent paint job on it. Looked good from the road (which is why I stopped) but not so much up close. Has a powerglide in it and a small block.

i have a neighbor like that--"she looks good from far but far from good". but hey she's a professional "pole dancer" so i guess she can't be too bad, lol.

Prolly depends on what part you look at,Jerry.

On that blue one I`d have to figure how to fix that body without messing up that nice paint...ya think?

I love those lots with folks selling their own stuff. You never know what will be there. Our Park`n`Rides are like that, especially on weekends.I like that copper one.The yellow one looks good, what I can see of it.

That blue truck has worked its way to Russellvile now and has been here for at least 2 months. Changed from Hwy7 tire dealers lot to hwy 64 tire dealers lot about 2 weeks ago. New lowered price $3950. Its rough underneath that shiny paint. Not mine either.

Just noticed the picture of blue truck is on the hwy 7 lot in Russellville, not Conway.

Al, & others: I can't seem to be smart enough to figure out how to attach a pdf file thru the Forum's PM system.

Anybody who wants info on these, just send me an email directly:

dave@72653.com

I know there may be a risk of hitting a spam list, by posting my email, so please have mercy on me.

ChevLoRay: Nope. Sort of "Center of town," it is on Hwy 62, but at the corner of Business 62/412 & College Street.
