I also need to order some parts from Summit. I tried using that code, but the the website says "The source code you have entered is invalid. "

Does anybody have another, or does this code only work for more than $150.00?

bigblock73 01-12-2003 11:09 PM

has to be more than $250.

Thanks fer the Summit code, thinking about ordering those Edelbrock IAS shocks. Too bad you don't get the discount for the handling fee too.

75stepside 01-13-2003 12:54 AM

kewl... i'm still good... my question is, how do ya'll get these codes... this summer, i spend well over $1000 in two orders, and i got nothing... in the last year and a half, i've spent almost $2000 there and i've got nothing... what gives? what's the secret!!?!? i must know!!!:D

78SilveradoSWB 01-13-2003 01:34 AM

They must use a computer to randomly select from their customer database to send discount offers. Maybe you have spent too much with them so they filtered you off? Not to worry as long there is this board, you'll always have a discount code no matter what.

EXACTLY!!!:D thanks to everyone!!

Now if I just had $250 to buy. I need other parts but nothing in that much price range.

75stepside 01-14-2003 01:36 PM

okay... we have a problem... i tried to order my stuff today... code didn't work... my PARTS only total was $251 and some change... w/ shipping, it was like $259.... anyone have a working code?

seems wierd, the code that you gave, N11102, the source code on the back of my summit catalog is N11100 .... hmmm... ???

:D

Source code

Just rec'd an order from Summit with the latest catalog and the code on it is N11104 Ken

What I dont understand is how do you know how much you get off if you tell it the discount code and your credit card number at the same time. By doing it this way you dont know how much your saving until you already placed the order (F*CKIN STUPID!). As you can tell I really dont like that. Maybe Ill call them and do it over the phone. I want to buy headers for my truck real soon. Summit is a little cheaper then Jegs on the headers.

Guiltyone 01-15-2003 04:10 PM

I got my order yesterday. They included a Jan-Feb Parts Catalog (aka Big Book) Source code N11002. On the back cover of the Summit Truckstyle, Source code M45002.

75stepside 01-15-2003 04:12 PM

yeah, get this... i've spent almost $2,000 w/ summit in the last year and i have yet to get any discounts... well, the discount code here wouldn't work online, so i called them up and placed my order... before i did that, i checked Jegs out and they listed the dynomax headers for $5 less... i told my sales rep and i got 'em from summit @ the Jegs price... so that's kewl...:)

Guiltyone 01-15-2003 04:17 PM

Where those headers the Jet-Hot coated ones? I saw Jeg's was cheaper. I held out...I wanted the older stlyle ceramic-coated Flowtech Afterburner Header...just won a set on ebay...power of the web :) ! Its really cool Summit matched thier price...did you get the discount with the source code?

75stepside 01-15-2003 04:41 PM

no discount code yet...:(

That's the same problem I have. Everyone once in a while I find a Summit code, but it's always for orders over $250. :(
I got my order in from Summit today - two shocks, about $75 shipped. Why can't I find a coupon for a smaller order like that?
