I missed this thread back in August. Same one, serial #0661, is now on its 8th eBay listing, see this link.

Thought I'd throw this post in underneath the prior one for comparison. Took long enough, the #0661 Chalet finally sold on eBay this past May for $9,900, although it went to a 'future' dealer who will have a lot set up somewhere in Indiana selling classic old 4x4s.
Meanwhile, here's a current one on eBay, serial #1382. Shines up nice... http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Chevr...fCarsQ5fTrucks **9/8/10 Edit - this one sold off-auction, but suddenly pops up for sale in an ad with a 9-minute YouTube walkaround video (which starts after an obligatory commercial, scroll down that page for the ad text)** Attachment 622408 |
Re: 1977 CHEVROLET K5 BLAZER CHALET 4x4 EBAY
There's one down the road from me that has been sitting next to a mechanic shop for a while now, I also saw one in town this summer pulling out of a gas station.

It might have been that green one it seems like that's what it looked like, If he was in New Braunfels this summer or maybe even last summer.

Re: 1977 CHEVROLET K5 BLAZER CHALET 4x4 EBAY
The one up above in my post #5 is back on eBay again, http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...m=300598278135 except this time it's gone through two more owners' hands, the newest being this dealer who wants $23,500 for it. More power to him if he can get that, I suppose, but the highest private sale price for an non-customized one is only $9,900, or else it is this one right here if the prior owner paid more than that. He hasn't said what he paid so far...
The revelation to me today from the eBay photos is that the first seller I saw for it back in July 2010 misread the serial # plate as saying #1382 and that was repeated through the next four owners which includes this dealer/seller. It is #1385. |
