Need GM Part # for 81-87 Rear Sport Inner Brackets
 

Does anyone have the GM part numbers for the left and right inner sport/wraparound bumper brackets? I have the outers that came off the blazer but the inners are different. LMC only has the whole kit and if I cant find the inners locally then I just might have to adapt the Blazer ones. Thanks

from what I can tell, the GM part numbers are:
LH - 14021341
RH - 14021342
Also they're discontinued from GM, but who know there might be some out there.

Captkaos is a site member and a site vendor (www.73-87chevytrucks.com) He sells the bumper bracket sets. Don't know, but he might be able to get you a set of just the inners. Worth asking.

i have same problem. i think blazers have boxed frames and inner bolts directly to frame. outers are same. i think i'll make some

I got my brackets and rear sport bumper from Captkaos and couldn't be happier with the communication and products he delivered.

I cant speak for what he may deliver now but my brackets were NOS gm parts when I ordered them 2-3 years ago.

What do the blazer and sub ones look like?
Anyone have pics of those?

There aren't any inner brackets on a Blazer. The frame ends are bent at a 90 degree angle to make bumper brackets. The outer braces are the same as pickup and Suburban. I would venture a guess that the rails on Suburbans are the same as on the Blazers, as the bumper was not an option on them.

There is a small bracket that bolts to the frame. This bumper is of a 87 Blazer. I dont have my step bumper off yet to see if there anywhere close. I might have to make something to make it work.

Mine cost 39 each thru gm #14021341 #14021342 deflector plates were 9.53 each #325465 im happy with that cause you cant find em!:chevy:

That would figure that I pulled mine apart the hard way on my 77. Of course, it was a 77, and a few years ago. Maybe 81-up is different, too. Sorry for the misinformation.

I put mine on with just the outer brackets not a lot of support there but no different then a roll pan i guess
