Chalet on Boise Idaho Dealer Lot
 

The Chalet link on the forum main page reminded me that I saw one on a "vintage" (read: way overpriced) dealer lot here in Boise. I did not stop and look at it, at 35 MPH it looks good. Price on window is $9,900. If anyone is interested and wants more info I can go down and take a closer look. PM me here or at reddogeb@yahoo.com.

That's got to be the one that had its 5th eBay listing end Monday with a "reserve-not-met" of $5,809. Its 4th listing ended with a winning bid of $9,900, but I have to assume the winning bidder was penniless... It is Chalet #0661, built 8/76.

As ever, I'm always grateful to have more eyes out there looking for these. There should be another '76 Chalet on the north side outskirts of Boise that I never got the serial # to, it shows up on Craigslist occasionally.

The unidentified Boise Chalet on my Google map (and the accompanying two lists at our Yahoo forum) is #4, and the Boise dealer one is #51 - I actually took it of the map / list when I thought it was sold, but I put it back in. Speaking of Knoxville (and nearby Maryville), the #1785 Chalet is there, and is #40, and now has a Craigslist ad: http://knoxville.craigslist.org/cto/1342389010.html

Are you guys just tracking them or trying to buy them. I can do some legwork and get the serial numbers per the yahoo email I got.

That was my email. I'm just tracking them for the sake of history, and I do maintain a pair of lists for the guys in our Yahoo Chalet owners' forum who want to buy one. If I had won the PowerBall lottery, I could afford to buy these up and fix/sell them at probably a loss, plus pay finders' fees to guys who spot them. But, I'm still poor, so no buying for me.
