Question from Australia - Original C-10 specifications
Hi everyone, I am 1963 C-10 owner from Australia.
To get my truck roadworthy I need to find out what the original factory specifications of the truck are so I need the following measurements: * - rims/tyres * - front track * - rear track. Does anyone know a website where I might be able to get these measurements from? I know that there were a lot of options for the trucks when they were new so there could be quite a few variations to the standard measurements which is what I am hoping as my truck has been modified quite a bit. There arent many C-10's over here so any help you guys might be able to offer will be much appreciated. :chevy: |
Re: Question from Australia - Original C-10 specifications
You might want to try the following website:
http://www.6066gmcguy.org/ It's a GMC site, but they have more specifications than any other site I've found, they even have a link that shows the differences between Chevy and GMC by model. I haven't been able to find the track information yet, if I do I'll respond again. As for tire/rim sizes, per the 1960 Chevrolet Shop Manual, there were 4 sizes available. I "assume" these offerings remained the same for 1963 but cannot confirm as I don't have that manual: 6.70-15-4 6.70-15-6 6.50-16-6 7-17.5-6 |
