? about hydroboost brakes
I am just about finished installing a hydro boost setup out of a 79 diesel, I am putting in a 78 that had vaccum brakes. I have a concern that I hope someone can help me with. My stock vaccum booster has the big brake line fitting on the front , and small brake line fitting on the back of the master cylinder. The Hydroboost is backwards small on front and big on rear. Which fitting on the master cyl of the hydroboost goes to the front brakes?? , and do I need the brake valve from the hydro or can I use any power brake valve?

You can use your stock valve, if i remember right, when I did mine I just moved the lines around. I will let you know tonight after work for sure.

Re: ? about hydroboost brakes
ok cool but isnt there a front and back side to them, they have diffrent holding pressure for front discs, and rear drums. I am goin to have rear disc brakes thats why I asking. So I dont get a mushy pedal.

Re: ? about hydroboost brakes
You are correct but different years had the front and back side in different locations, the line size did not change. The proportioning vaulve is where the pressure is changed and even though you are going to discs you do not need to change it out.
