Rocker panel replacement......

The Rocker Panel on the Drivers side of my 72 GMC Fleetside Shortbed needs replacing.
Do these have to be Cut and the new ones Welderd into place or are they Bolt on?

Cut and weld. There's a write up in the FAQ on rocker replacement.
